Terms of Service

Grounded is software that independent home-service contractors use to run free inspections, schedule appointments, send estimates, and manage the job through to completion. If you requested an inspection or estimate through a contractor's page, or you're a homeowner using a contractor's customer portal, your contract for the actual work (the inspection, the roof replacement, or the repair) is with that contractor, not with us. We provide the software they use; we don't perform the work and we don't guarantee its outcome, pricing, or scheduling beyond what the contractor tells you directly.

A "free inspection" offer is provided by the contractor, on the contractor's terms. Any discount held for you (for example, a percentage off if you book) is locked in by the contractor at the time you book and is subject to the contractor confirming it at the actual appointment. The roof/property measurement and cost range shown to you before a technician visits is an estimate built from remote imagery and public records. It is explicitly a rough range, not a quote, and the contractor's in-person inspection is what determines the real number.

If you provide your phone number and check the consent box, you are agreeing to be contacted by the specific contractor named at that moment, including by autodialed or prerecorded calls and text messages about the service you asked about, even if your number is on a do-not-call list. That consent is not a condition of any purchase, and message/data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time: reply STOP to a text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Where a contractor's page offers homeowner financing, it is financing powered by Figure; Figure Lending LLC is the lender. We are not the lender, we do not make credit decisions, and applying for financing is entirely optional and happens directly with Figure under Figure's own terms.

If a contractor sends you a document to sign through this platform, signing it electronically is legally binding, the same as a signature in ink. You'll see the specific disclosure and be asked to affirmatively consent before you sign anything.

Don't use this service to submit false information, to interfere with its operation, or to try to access another person's or another contractor's data. Contractors using this platform agree not to use it to send messages to anyone who has not consented, or to anyone on a do-not-call or do-not-text list. The platform enforces this technically, and a contractor may not attempt to route around it.

The service is provided "as is." Estimates, imagery-based measurements, and storm records are informational and may be incomplete or out of date. To the extent allowed by law, Grounded is not liable for the acts, omissions, pricing, workmanship, or scheduling of any contractor using this platform, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the update.
